Veterinary Technician

Dominique started working at Harper Animal Hospital in 2009 and finds the job very rewarding.  She loves interacting, not only with the patients, but also the people they own. Sally Ploch

Veterinary Technician

Sally has been working at Harper Animal Hospital since 2012. She started at Harper as a kennel attendant in August of 2012 and became a receptionist in 2014. Animals have always been her passion; her ambition is to be a veterinarian, and she now works as a veterinary assistant while pursuing her degree in biology at Loyola University Chicago. Sally loves her job because of the exposure to the veterinary field that it provides her, but also because of her wonderful coworkers that have become her second family. Between work and school, Sally enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend, as well as volunteering at a local animal shelter. Sally also enjoys travelling; in August of 2015, she travelled to Thailand and worked on an elephant reservation as part of a pre-veterinary study abroad program. Included in Sally’s family are her cats, Max and Tinkerbell, her rambunctious German Shepherd, Thor, and her bearded dragon, Ziggy.
