Susan Anderson

Certified Veterinary Technician

Susan has been a Veterinary Technician since 1977 and came to work at Harper Animal Hospital in 1982. She has loved animals for as long as she can remember, leading her to graduate from Madison Area Technical College in 1974 with an Animal Technician Degree. Susan enjoys the medical aspect of this job and looks forward to attending continuing education seminars.  She lives at home with her husband, Paul, her daughter, Abby, and their cat, South DaCody . Susan’s hobbies include trail riding on horseback, puzzles, and crosswords.

Dominique Beaupre

Veterinary Technician

Dominique started working at Harper Animal Hospital in 2009 and finds the job very rewarding.  She loves interacting, not only with the patients, but also the people they own. Dominique started riding horses when she was six years old and knew from then on that she wanted a career working with animals. She currently owns a female paint horse that she shows on the hunter/jumper circuit. Dominique also shares her home with a Pomeranian named Nessa. In her spare time, Dominique enjoys riding horses and spending time with her family and friends.

Sally Ploch

Veterinary Technician

Sally started working as a kennel attendant at Harper Animal Hospital in August of 2012. She became a receptionist in 2014 and started working as a technician in 2016. Animals and medicine have always been Sally’s greatest passions, and her ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian. Sally graduated from Loyola University Chicago in May of 2017 with a degree in biology and is in the process of applying to veterinary school. Outside of work, Sally enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend, as well as traveling. She has traveled to both Thailand and South Africa and has worked with a variety of wildlife, including elephants and cheetahs. Included in Sally’s own furry family are two cats, Max and Tinkerbell, and two rescue dogs, Loki and Decker.

Shaughnessy Duke

Shaughnessy joined our team with almost 10 years of prior experience.  She enjoys working hands on with dogs, cats, and exotic animals, and enjoys providing excellent care in appointments as well as in surgery.  She earned her certification from the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in Tinley Park.  When not working, she’s at home with her dogs:  Haylee and Kitty and cats:  Trouble and Mini Vinny.

Teri Hattendorf

Receptionist

Teri (A.K.A. “The Hugger”) has been happily employed at Harper Animal Hospital since 2009.  After many years in the travel business, a change of pace was just what she wanted. Her love of pets and people make her position as a receptionist the perfect fit. When Teri’s not at the animal hospital she spends her time cooking, reading, and gardening. The newest addition to her family is an adorable young pug named Myrtle.

Heather Regan

Receptionist

Heather came to Harper in fall of 2016 and absolutely loves being a part of the team.  Her passion for being around animals started when she was a child and after 10 years in the Customer Service industry she decided it was time for a career change. In her free time Heather loves yoga, running, going to concerts and traveling. She is a die hard sports fan and gets especially excited when cheering on the Bears, Blackhawks, and her Chicago Cubbies! Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends including her husband Brian and their cats: Smokey and Clea, her fur babies.

Yomaira Campos

Receptionist

Yomaira received her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology.  She has been working with Dr. Grabowski for the past year, and is excellent with Client Services and Management. She enjoys seeing all the different animals that come into the clinic.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.
